Location: Abuja or Lagos, Nigeria (Hybrid)
Contract Type: August-September 2024

Do you want to ignite innovation to help youth transform the world? Do you believe in young people and grassroot organisations as visionary changemakers?

NGYouthSDGs is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Learning and Development Designer to develop a comprehensive learning toolkit and “train the trainer” resources for an exciting new project.

This initiative aims to build the capacity of young people and youth civil society organisations (CSOs) in Nigeria to actively contribute to the implementation of Nigeria’s National Adaptation Plan (NAP) and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC). The project focuses on empowering youth CSOs, particularly those working directly with young people and young women who are significantly impacted by climate change and are often excluded from policy decision-making processes. By enhancing their participation, we aim to foster sustainable development in their communities.

You will be joining a team of caring and committed individuals who believe in supporting the bold ideas of young people and grassroots organisations to deepen their impact and advocate for youth rights.
We value collaboration and integrity and we are committed to inspiring young people to lead positive change in their communities. Feedback and learning get us up in the morning and as a youth-centred organisation, we are inspired by a vision for meaningful youth participation.
