CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: DATA COLLECTOR FOR A GOVERNANCE ACCOUNTABILITY PROJECT

Citizens Connect is seeking twenty-five qualified data collectors for its inaugural governance accountability project. Inspired by the UN decade of ambitious action to deliver on Sustainable Development Goal 16 of Peace Justice and Strong Institutions. The Citizens Connect program is designed to improve accountability mechanisms between governance and citizenry, through the collection and dissemination of politically relevant information.

The paid short-term contract role entails the following responsibilities:

  • Identify Select Ministries, Departments, and Agencies in the Federal Capital Territory.
  • Get Verifiable Contact Information (Names, Positions of head administrators, Phone Numbers, Email Address and Physical Addresses)
  • Get the Mandate (i.e. a description of the purpose of the ministry/department/agency)
  • Fill the details gathered above in a Spreadsheet (we will give you a template)

 

COMPETENCIES

  • Be a resident of Abuja.
  • Basic Computer Skills (ability to use Google Docs is a plus).
  • A bank account.
  • Ability to work within a specified timeline.
  • Determined [Government can be frustrating to deal with]
