NGYouthSDGs Organizes 2 Days Monitoring and Evaluation Training for Champions Across Nigeria

The Nigeria Youth SDGs Network organized a 2-day Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) training for champions and volunteers who showed interest in the news for this training. The training was facilitated by Euphemia Uwandu (M&E Officer, Nigeria Youth SDGs Network),  Chidimma Okoye (Anambra State Champion, NGYouthSDGs Network) and moderated by Uchenna Imo ( M&E Officer, Cross River chapter). 

On day one of the 2-hour training, Euphemia Uwandu introduced Monitoring and Evaluation and explained M&E core concepts and Indicators to the trainees. Additionally, Chidimma took participants around the  Data collection and analysis (qualitative analysis), collecting qualitative data, Analysing qualitative data, and data collection and analysis (quantitative analysis).

After the session by Euphemia and Chidimma, the floor was thrown open for questions and comments from the participants.

One of the participants, Aminu Sambo Gandi thanked the trainers and network and stated that the training was a refresher of the technical aspects of M&E that he encountered in his previous monitoring and evaluation role while heading the Monitoring and Evaluation subunit at the World Health Organization (WHO), Sokoto field office.

The participants appreciated the network and trainers for the opportunity to be trained on Monitoring and Evaluation.
